Donations for Fallen Oklahoma Probation & Parole Officer Jeffery McCoy
Jeffrey McCoy, 32, of Oklahoma City, a probation and parole officer with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, was killed Friday, May 18th, while paying a visit to an individual under pre-release supervision.
Unfortunately, by now this is an all too familiar story – officer killed in the line of duty; leaves behind young children. Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, and now Oklahoma – all within a five month period.
The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is stepping up to the plate to help raise funds for Officer McCoy’s family and we wanted to share how to assist if Florida COs, POs, and staff felt moved to do so.
From the OKDOC’s Director’s Update:
The Department of Corrections and the family of the fallen Probation and Parole Officer Jeffery McCoy give their heartfelt thanks to all the condolences and messages of support from all extended correctional/law enforcement family from here and across the nation.
A fund to assist the family and support the future of Jeff’s seven-year-old son and four-year-old daughter has been established. Please feel free to share the contact information with your networks.
All donations should be sent to:
