The Corrections Foundation awarded the first Louie L. Wainwright Scholarship, worth $2,500, to Clarissa Davis. Mrs. Davis has been with the FDC at Hardee CI since April 2021, serving dual roles as a Classification Officer and Chaplain. She’s attending USF (University of South Florida) to complete her BA in Criminology. She’s also continuing her education […]
Through membership donations of FDC officers, staff, and contractors, the Corrections Foundation is able to take care of all FDC employees. While we offer financial assistance for non-members, those who join and qualify for financial assistance benefit in a greater amount.

I really appreciate the Corrections Foundation stepping in and helping me. I recently received a bad diagnosis, and the Corrections Foundation did not hesitate to step in and help me. I would recommend everyone to join this organization. It’s good to know that we never walk alone!
As the Director of the Pawsitive Direction program at Okeechobee CI, I can say with sincere gratitude that the Corrections Foundation has been incredibly helpful. Not only has the help come in the form of supplies when needed, but support and guidance, as well.
I have been a member for years and have never needed the assistance. (Thank God) However, 2 weeks ago my daughter who also works for the department and is a member had her baby 10 weeks early. She lives over 60 miles from the hospital and makes the trip everyday to see her baby. She will be out of work for a little while and received a check from the foundation for $1500. She is extremely grateful for this much needed blessing! As her mom, I just want to say Thank You for the assistance you provided to my baby girl! I’ve always been an avid supporter of the foundation but now that it’s blessed my family personally, I’m an even bigger advocate! Thank you doesn’t even begin to express the gratitude in my heart right now!
The Pups N PALS PROGRAM in Daytona Beach is fantastic. Save pups and rehabilates people. Thank you to this foundation for allowing a program like this happen and having it grow to be a recognized program in the community. The Veterans and the regular ADOPTERS have all been extremely grateful. The Office Irwin really does a great job.
